Freddy Fit visited St Johns
Over the past two weeks, Freddy Fit has been visiting our school to talk about healthy eating, the importance of teamwork, and keeping ourselves fit. Each class, from Nursery to Year 6, enjoyed a full session with him. The children had lots of fun taking part in energetic exercise activities and moving to music.
Freddy also helped the children understand why exercise is so important for both their physical and mental health. Regular physical activity helps to keep our hearts healthy, strengthens muscles and bones, and improves overall fitness. It can also boost mood, increase confidence, and help children to focus better in class. Through fun and engaging activities, the children learned that staying active doesn’t just keep us healthy, but can also be enjoyable and something we can do together.
We look forward to welcoming him back next year.
